Asca dreams of riding the open sea, tasting freedom and chasing adventure,

just like Swifter-riding Marauders do.

(Although, without the steal-anything-that-isn’t-nailed-down part.)

But the harder Asca and their pals Sesha, Tenen, and Sun

try to convince Nan that they’re good enough to be lent a Swifter,

the more mistakes they make and the less they are trusted with any sort of job.

Between them, they might almost be good enough to watch Nan’s cat for a day….
